Of all the movies, this one was probably the darkest and most emotional. It was very well done, all the actors delivered and it did a good job of following the storyline. Did you see it and if so, did you like it?
I hate it when they do teen movies dark! And books too! It will shape tons of new generations that will see death and killings as something glamorous. The violence in books is steadily becoming a fetish for young readers as well thanks to US publishers :(
I saw Part 1...I remember reading the book and I couldn't remember enough material left at the end of the book to make a whole movie out of it. I remember what happened, but I kept thinking, "Couldn't they have crammed it into one movie?" But Harry Potter started that trend, I guess--stretch it out to maximize your box office earnings!
I've seen them all in theaters except for this one. Knowing that they end is going to be sad, I'm avoiding it. ;) We'll grab it on Redbox whenever it finally comes out.
I enjoyed all the movies, even the last one. Yeah, it's darker--it's basically a war movie--but it was still good. Almost makes me want to re-read the books. And if I had time (and a smaller TBR pile), I might have done it! :)
oh, oh...I have not seen any-insert sheepish smile. For some reason, these films never enticed me. I think I am not one for the dark style-people in a game to kill another but one becomes a leader to change all this. How did you like the ending of this film-all you thought or could they have done a lot more?

No, I haven't seen it, but perhaps I will get round to it one of these days! Hugs, Valerie
I haven't seen it, but the books certainly veered to the dark side after the first.

Sorry, didn't like the first one.
And books and movies are only a reflection of the darkness happening in real life.
Didn't see it. Saw the first, two. Thought they were ok.

Never saw a one. Hear they are going to cash in and make prequels now though

Not yet, but I can't wait to see.

I saw it. I had only seen the first one before that, so didn't follow everything but it was good, lots of action.
Hi Val, If you do let us know whether or not you like it.
Hugs back.
They sure did. Especially the last one.
Good point, Dez.
I'm afraid we don't limit violence to books either.
It would get pretty boring if we all liked the same things:)
Hey CJ, I liked your solar lights.
That's what the hh was saying:)
I think sales on this one fell off. I think both Mockinjay and Twilight should have limited it to 3.
Seriously? Huh. I didn't know that.
Sounds like a plan. We do a lot of Redbox:)
Those TBR's just keep growing:) How are you, Stacy?
Hi Sharon, Let us know if you like it:)
I'm doing fine! Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
You zeroed in, Birgit. The ending felt a little flat. But overall it was well done.
There sure was. I'm on my way over to your place.
I haven't seen it but don't go to the cinema. I do see films on the TV though, good post.
Yvonne.
I saw it awhile back, now I'm excited for The Force Awakens
