Four more days till Christmas.....
What did everyone do this weekend? Shop? Wrap? Bake cookies? Plan your dinner?
We've signed up for Prime so we watched the Bosch series. Has anyone seen that? Titus Welliver does a fantastic job of playing Bosch.
We also rented Jurassic World. The hh thought it was over the top. Can you imagine? grin. I liked it :) (Spoiler Alert) The raptors protected their trainer against the big bad part-raptor monster. Warmed the cockles of my heart. Whatever cockles are. Anyway I enjoyed it.
Sometime this week we are heading for Star Wars. Have you seen it yet? Can't wait.

This weekend was obscenely hot. We nudged 100 both days and I did as little as possible.
Consequently I am waaaaay behind in Christmas prep.
Yeah, it was over the top all right. Jurassic World was like the first one but they hit all the wrong notes. The Force Awakens is also similar to the first Star Wars movie, but JJ Abrams hit all the right notes. And it's a much, much better movie. Go see it and enjoy!
Merry Christmas, Sandra.
I did NOTHING; grocery shopping and laundry only. won't be going to see "star bores"; not my thing.
don't know why but I totally don't feel like it is Christmas this week
We watched a really bad Bill Murray variety show on Netflix on our new home theater seating in our bonus room. Movie night in style!
Hi, dear Sandra!
That's a stunning portrait of Santa and his reindeer! This weekend I did some house cleaning because I got all my shopping done early. Mrs. Shady and I love police procedurals and I will be sure to tell her about Amazon's Bosch. I haven't seen Jurassic World but it looks like the kind of movie Mrs. S and I could watch with our 12 year old grandson.
Happy Monday, dear friend Sandra!
Did nothing.Felt under the weather
Had a great weekend doing nothing, reading etc. Bosch is good, I like it very much! Hugs, Valerie
Never watched Bosch yet. Jurassic World was over the top but fun enough.
100? That is sick and wrong.
We're hoping to see Star Wars today. Can't wait.
Have lovely holidays, Alex.
Nothing sounds good to me.
Can't wait to see Star Wars. Hopefully today.
I've been fighting a wretched cold, so mostly all I did was sleep. Ugh! Jurassic World was a fun romp of a movie, and I can't wait to see Star Wars. I probably won't get to see it until after New Years, but am really jazzed about that one. Happy Monday, Sandra!
I have not seen Jurassic World yet and will see Star Wars in the New year when the crowds are less. My hubby and I went to Niagara On The Lake-a beautiful historic town near where we live. It was cold with a few snowflakes and the town had Christmas music in the streets-it was delightful. Yesterday I finished the tree (tinsel) and wrapped a bit and cleaned-busy but good!
Sounds like you had a busy week-end.
Hearing lots of good things about Star Wars, we had planned to wait until it was out on DVD but are beginning to think a trip to the pictures might be in order.
I saw Jurassic World but, I was a bit disappointed. I am just not buying running in high heels..haha.. It is going to be warm here this Christmas.
Merry Christmas Sandra!
Hope you get in the mood soon and completely enjoy it, bud.
New home theater? I'll bring the popcorn:)
Isn't that just the best Christmas picture ever?
You, Mrs. Shady and grandson enjoy Jurassic W.
Happy Monday back, Shady.
I really enjoyed it, but the same thought hit me too, how was she possibly moving that fast in heels?
Thank you, True and a very Merry Christmas to you.
:(
Are you feeling better now, CJ?
Hi Tracy, Just got back. Loved it...up until the end. They left it very open, too many threads dangling. There was another part in it, I didn't like at all, but I won't do a spoiler.
Have you read the Bosch series books, Valerie?
Niagara On The Lake sounds wondrous.
Would you believe there were less than a dozen people in the theater when we went in today to see the show?
While both JW and the new Star Wars share a lot parallels with the original movies, I still enjoyed both of them a lot.
Have you read the book series, Pat?
I think that's what made them so good, they were more like the originals. Although, Star Wars left a lot of unanswered questions. (We went to see it this afternoon). And I didn't like what happened to Han at all.
So sorry you've been sick, Mae. Drink your liquids and get plenty of rest. Hugs.
I admit I felt so sorry for the dinosaurs in Jurassic World. I have only seen one episode of Bosch and really enjoyed it. My husband keeps telling me I need to get on with it and watch the rest.
I hope you enjoy the new Star Wars movie. We loved it.
I'm working this week and counting down the days until Christmas Eve. I'm leaving my husband to cleaning the house before the company comes. Such a sweetheart. Have a Merry Christmas!
No, just watched the Prime series.
Had an awful week-end, had the paramedic comeout as I felt awful, feel a little better now, Enjoyed the post Sandra.
Yvonne.
Hi Literary Feline:)
Me too. I hated seeing the herbivores just strewn on the ground where they'd been slaughtered by the genetic monster.
We did see Star Wars yesterday. It was great, though I wish they'd drawn some of the dangling threads together and not killed off you know who. That was a stunner.
Oh my gosh. What was going on? Are you feeling better now?
Most of the books are pretty good.
We may have to send him some tea, Sandra, and big warm blanket. Yes?
I've read each and every one of them.
