What ducks?
I see six, but one is technically a goose.
Have a great weekend! I'll probably catch you on Monday and then it's offline for the holidays.

Hi, Sandra!

I see:

6 Ducks a Quacking
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree

Happy Friday, dear friend!

How fun! Five ducks and one goose! One deer outside too. ;)

Loving this picture but I'm afraid I keep loosing track of the ducks. In fact I'm sure they are moving around, hiding out of view only to reappear elsewhere in the picture.

Love it - but other people's eyes are better than mine. It is nearly 6 am and my counting muscles are still asleep. As they have been for fifty years.

5 ducks and a Canada Goose. A dog, 2 deer (male in the picture...or is that an Elk) and one outside. Hmmm...is that supposed to be a duck in the tiny picture hanging on the wall. Have a happy weekend:)

After tommorow, I'll be off for three days, work two, and off three

So funny, but I'm reading this with a view in front of me of a Christmas tree on the left and a fireplace next to it! Same layout in the picture, although it's a little too warm here for the fireplace.

I hear you on that one, Valerie.

Found the goose, but not all of the ducks. (It helped to read the comments, the return.) What a beautiful picture and a fun way to enjoy it. Stopping by to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ha! 6 am is awfully early for counting muscles to be functioning:)

Sandra Cox said...

Good eye. I think it is an elk. Okay, I see the pic above the fireplace but I'm still looking for the one on the wall....

Hi Sandra,

Wanted to first thank you for your comment on my site. Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

Not one to duck the issue, thus, I think I see four ducks, a Canada Goose, eh, a dog and a very large deer outside the window...

Hope you had a nice weekend.

Gary :)

If you look to the right of the fireplace mantle, there is a small picture on the wall....:)
