How are you?
Not a lot going on here, at least on the exciting scale:)
I sent the HH out for a kitchen sponge and this is what he brought back. I thought the smile was just for 'cute' factor, but the eyes are for putting your fingers in if you need to swish the sponge down into a glass and the mouth is for cleaning silverware. Have you ever seen, had or used one?
AND the Eternal Garden pics.
For me the four seasons are: daffodil season, iris season, day lily season and mum season. Right now my garden is between seasons:)
So far the little grape vine is doing fine.
My current project: widening my garden walkway:) If you look closely, you can see I've got more potatoes growing from the mulch bin again this year;) Well, maybe you can't.
These sneaky roses escaped through and over the fence:)

The sponge is cute. Does it work?
Loving your garden. As my Sunday Selections shows we have four seasons in our garden at the moment.
I love those silly sponges! Need to get some more...
Love those roses! Beautiful!
Happy week!
hugs
Donna
I like the sponge happiness, used as you go about the unhappy task of having to clean with it. I see a hydrangea. How I love them, in all their colours.
Life could deliver worse things that roses through and over the fence.
I love the sponge.

A smile with a purpose!
Cool sponge. Your roses are beautiful. Mine should start blooming soon.
My friend Sally bought a pack of 10 of those sponges (probably from QVC). I had NO idea they were that useful.
Your yard may be between seasons, but your hosta is amazing. I've never had a climbing rose.
Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately.
That sponge looks like one I got in the mail recently. Beautiful flowers.
haha I have seen those sponges I thought they were just cute. Interesting that there is a purpose to the design besides making one smile.
Have a wonderful week, it is warm here this week.
What is your favorite flower? In May, I think of the Lily of the Valley, they grew on the side of my grandmother's house. Her birthday was in May. As a child, she said if I was quiet I could hear the bells rings with a message from the heavens. haha, I think she just wanted me to leave them alone. Later, I learned they were symbolic of joy and when I reflect on those memories they really did bring joy. Just my grandmother and I kneeling close to the earth in hopes of hearing bells. I think I still listen for those bells baring messages from the heavens/universe.
Sorry, I seem to have gotten off track as my mind wanders to another time and place.
Our lilac is blooming and, soon the peonies. Love your garden pics. I love that sponge! I wish I could find s that here. Your HH did well. I was at the drs on Friday and she is upping my meds for pain relief. I went shopping and crawled home. The pain was intense. Saturday was great..my pain was much less and I went with hubby and our dog on a nice walk and then cleaned. Sunday, I went qith my friends mother German open house. It's Folk Arts festival I my city a d you get to try the food, see some artistic pieces from the country and watch folk dancing. The German club has not changed at all! It's like going g back to the 80s:) the food was good and.nothing beats Germans with their array of tortes...they are the best!
Those sponges are called Scrub Daddy. They also make a softer version called Sponge Daddy, more like a sponge. You need to come North and lend your landscaping expertise to our garden.
I haven't seen a sponge like that but it looks pretty cute and useful too.
You have such a pretty garden and I love the roses shot! Yes, I do have that sponge, got it last Christmas and on my third one now. A fan of them, plus adds some cheer to doing dishes... lol
EC, It does work and I would love to someday meander through your four seasons garden.
Donna, The sponges are both fun and serviceable aren't they. Glad you like the roses:) Hugs received and returned.

Elizabeth, Great to see you in cyber land. The hostas are loving the current weather for sure. Believe it or not, that rose bush isn't a climber, it just thinks it is:) Hehe.Christine, How do you like the sponge? The roses and I thank you:)
True, That paragraph on your favorite May flower is heartwarming. I'm going to be watching for some special poems built around that paragraph.
Birgit, I love lilacs and peonies. I'm so sorry to hear you've been in pain. Glad you are better and had fun.
